Ordering and Payment Policies
Custom orders require a minimum of 2 weeks notice
Encore Cookies is an at home bakery that operates under the Texas Cottage Food Law. All of our cookies are made with lots of love. Due to a very busy schedule filled with teaching, music concerts, sports practices, school projects, and bible studies our calendar fills up QUICKLY. To ensure your spot on the calendar, advance payment is required when you order.
Custom orders require a minimum of 2 dozen cookies
Because each batch is made just for you (custom shapes, colors, etc.), I must bake a full batch of cookie dough. A full batch makes slightly over 2 dozen cookies. Since using half an egg is really not an option, and overbaking is just wasteful, there is a 2 dozen minimum for each custom order.
Full payment is due at time of ordering
A full refund will be issued when cancelling your order up to 2 weeks before your scheduled pickup. A 50% refund will be issued between 1-2 weeks prior to pickup, and no refunds are issued within 1 week of your scheduled pickup date.
Invoices will be sent in an email and paid with PayPal
When your order is placed, I will send a PayPal invoice via e-mail, and the order will be confirmed once that invoice is paid in full.
Cookies are local pickup only (Cypress, TX)
We are an at home bakery and do not offer retail hours. Once a pick-up date/time has been agreed upon, I appreciate punctuality. With 2 busy kids and a full time job, I often cannot be stuck at home waiting for cookie orders to be picked up. If you have an emergency or an unforeseen delay, please notify me as soon as possible to make other arrangements.
Once orders are picked up, Encore Cookies is no longer liable for any damage caused to the cookies by improper handling or storage.
